Playland Characters

This is a very specific category. The Casino Owners play a very big role on the site and in the plot, so we would like to add committed people into this group. If you would like to be a Casino Owner, PM any one of the admins your application and your thoughts and we will see if it fills the requirements. You’re more than welcome to apply for one of the owners. We'd like the Casino Owners to be a bit active, so please don't register and split, that's no fun anyway! You get a whole casino!

But there are great things that come with being a Casino Owner too! We have general outline for all the casinos, but once you are the owner you have free reign to decide what your casino looks like, what entertainment it provides, and the backstory behind its creation and its running. We will modify the board to your specifications. Also, since the owners play a certain role in the overarcing plot once you’re registered we will PM you with some information that either only your character will know or your class will know.

Pretty much any employee under the sun. Pit bosses, dealers, casino security, waiters, waitresses, bartenders, dancers, cabaret singers, burlesque girls, show girls, call girls, elevator attendants, managers (of restaurants and what not), etc.

Nickname for a deceiver, liar, or a cheat. This is the class for criminals. It’s Vegas in the 50s/60s, there are definitely going to be lots of illegal activities going on. The basic list includes thief, robber, hitman, card counter, arms dealer, grifter etc. We definitely need a few more shucksters right now! If you're looking to be a crook and want to be part of a gang, check out the needed characters board!

Self explanatory, really. Any position within the military, pilot, technicians officer, and officer. If women want to be in the military their positions would limited to nurse and radio operator. Like the Casino Owners, anyone who is accepted into the military will receive a piece of information about the plot specific to both their rank and class. It will be your decision whether or not you share this information with others. Some things you will be asked to keep to yourself. As well, depending on your rank, you will receive access to the Paradise Ranch board.

Any position in the American government or foreign government. Mayor, governor, campaign manager, senator, FBI agent, spy (such as yours truly), political advisor etc. Similar to the Military class, those accepted as part of the Government will receive information about the plot specific to your job within the government. Somethings only you will know and some things the whole class will know. As well, depending on your role you will receive access to both the Military Base and Paradise Ranch.

The lovely and dedicated Las Vegas police force. Homicide detective, Vice cop, Arson detective, officer, beat cop etc. Some members of the police department will receive information regarding the plot depending on their jobs within the force.

Those who visit Las Vegas and never want to leave. This category is self explanatory and most likely requires no sub-heading. If you come up with a job that would fit underneath tourist, feel free to fill us in and we will put that under your name.

Those who have made Las Vegas a home. Housewives, business men, maids, butlers, elite (the rich and powerful), drivers, etc.

**Unfortunately, the Las Vegas Employees, Tourists, and Citizens will not receive as much further information about the plot as some of the other classes. However, don’t let this discourage you from joining these classes! You will be part of the big mystery and we will make it fun for everyone to unravel the mystery.
