LAS VEGAS CENSUS PLEASE FILL OUT THIS FORM AND RETURN BY MAIL. FREDERICK BOSKO BASIC INFORMATION
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION HAIR COLOR AND STYLE: Dark brown and naturally curly. He always lathers it with styling wax and wears it in a little bouffant at the front of his head just like Elvis Presley. EYE COLOR: Blue. BODY BUILD: Freddy isn't massively built but he does have some muscle. Enough muscle to defend himself and hold someone down. He tends to work out every so often to keep himself in shape and to make sure he looks his best for the ladies. He's a tall boy at 6"1ft. GET UP: Being vice president of a gang, Freddy always dresses to impress. The general look he tends to go for is a cross between 'i don't care what you think of me' and 'effortlessly stylish'. He tends to wear jeans, usually ripped and uncared for, tight fitting t-shirts (with the sleeves rolled up) or vests. A staple of his outfit is, of course, his sons of saints leather jacket. It's slightly battered and the lining is a little broken from wear but he loves it and he wears it with pride. PERSONALITY DISPOSITION: Certainly the most striking quality of Fred is how laidback he is. He is the very essence of ‘cool’ and ‘smooth’. The sky could be falling down around him but as long as he has a pack of cigarettes and a beer, sitting comfortably in a deck chair, it wouldn’t bother him at all. Well, that’s how he comes across, anyway. Even if something is worrying him deep down, he brushes it off to look as cool as possible. He comes across so laidback many people think he doesn’t care about anything but he does care about somethings and some people deeply. Not that he would ever admit so, though. He doesn’t really like showing emotions much. He’d much rather come across as an emotionless tough guy than anything else. His temper however, is quite the opposite of this calm, collected side of him. His anger is an explosion. It makes him destructive and violent. He rarely gets pissed off easily but if something’s got his goat you’re bound to know about it. He mostly conveys his anger through his fists, punching anything he can, really. Walls, people, furniture. He’ll punch his anger away. He’s got a lot of pent-up anger thanks to his hatred for his step-father. He’s quite the ladies man. Has a charming way with women and likes sex. A lot. He finds a chase exciting and a tumble in the sheets just as good but he’s quick to loose interest and move on, only to return a few weeks later for the same kick. He’s somewhat superficial and cares a lot about his image. He won’t really have the time for people that don’t look ‘his type’. He can be judgemental but he doesn’t care. The loyalty he holds for his little sister and gang members is so strong, he’d throw himself into jail before he rats them out. If you hurt them, he’ll hurt you ten times harder. He’s rebellious and loves sticking a middle finger up to society. He swears like a sailor, regardless of the situation he is in and how formal it is. Fred loves to have a good time, drinking heavily and dancing through the night whenever he can. There’s always a cigarette in his mouth and most of the time he’ll just light another with the end of the last one. He has a deep burning love for Elvis Presley, rock ‘n’ roll and Humphrey Bogart movies. These are things only his close friends know, though. His heart is under lock and key and he only lets his closest friends inside. HISTORY HOMETOWN: New York City, New York. FAMILY: Celena Bosko. Mother. 41. Lena Bosko. Little sister. 16. Harry Turner. Step-father. 45. FRIENDS: Friends, to Freddy, are just as good, if not better, as family. Peter is Fred's best friend and wingman. His loyalty to the president of the gang goes further than anything in the world. Freddy is also close to other members of the gang and of the nuns. RECORD: Aleksander and Celena Bosko were young when they married and they moved from their home country, Poland, to New York when they were just 20. They craved new beginnings, a fresh start. Two years later, in 1938, they had their first child. Fryderyk Jakub Bosko. They insisted on giving him a Polish name, staying true to his roots and heritage. However, they agreed to spell it the American way- Frederick- on any papers in America so that the boy would have an easier start in life. As easy as it could be for an Eastern European immigrant, that is. Three years later in 1941, Lena Anna Bosko was born. Fred was dubious at first and didn’t like the idea of having a little sister but the baby soon grew on him and as they grew they were close. Life for the Boskos was never plain sailing. Celena and Aleksander would constantly argue and fall out. Most of Freddy’s earliest memories involve his parents biting each others’ heads off. However, that would all change when his father was called to fight in World War II in 1943. Freddy was reassured that as the only man of the house, he had to look after his mum and sister. He did the best he could. He grew especially protective of little Lena, often getting into fights with other kids because of it. In 1945, the war ended and the country celebrated. The remaining Boskos, however, did not rejoice. Fred’s father didn’t return from the war. Celena told her children that their father had died in battle. They were torn to hear the news. Little did they know that what their mother had told them was a lie. He didn’t die at all. Infact, Celena had been sent a letter from her former husband a month or so prior to the war ending. It stated that Aleksander was staying in England with his new family. Had they of known, Lena and Fred wouldn’t be so angry with their mother when she seemed to show no sorrow at the news of her husband’s death. The family slipped from comfortable middle class to lower class. Celena got a job as a receptionist to keep the family afloat but it was hard. When Fred was 11 he started hanging out with the wrong people. He learnt how to pick locks and pockets and got into fights. Fred was a loose cannon, losing interest in school and society. He was angry at his circumstances and blamed everyone else for them. It was when he was 14 that his mother found someone else and remarried. That year they moved to Las Vegas. Fred hated his stepfather (and still does) and hated his mother for moving on so quickly. He had even more reason to hate the world, too. His stepfather constantly threatened to send him to military school but Celena would buckle in at the thought and feel guilty. At 15 years old Freddy met Peter. They became best friends almost instantly, their personalities just clicked and they understood each other. It wasn’t long until the two delinquents discovered the greaser gang- Sons of Saints. The idea of being in a gang was exciting for Freddy. Being associated with lots of like-minded people, sick with society and sick of rules, was exactly what he wanted. They joined the gang and quickly made their way through the ranks. Peter rose to be President of the gang whilst Freddy took Vice-President. His interest in school became non-existent. He just stopped going. It didn’t take him long to be kicked out. Now Freddy is 19 and he is still Vice President of the gang. He sees the gang as more of a family than his mother and step-father and is loyal to the Sons of Saints. He sees them going great places and is proud to be a part of it. He spends most of his time at The Can with the Sons of Saints and the Nuns. THE INCIDENT WHAT HAPPENED?: When the incident occurred, Freddy was sure it was a blessing sent down from God. Freddy and some other members of the gang were being chased by the fuzz after conducting a fight with an opposing gang. Just as they were making a break for it- all the streetlights went out and the police lost their tail. A few gang members have disappeared since and it makes Fred nervous- not that he'd ever admit that, of course! OOC INFORMATION
